ANOs and affected cadets are requested to ensure that their application for the reserved seats in Polytechnic colleges reaches Group HQ by 10 JULY 10.

1. VENUE : SD COLLEGE PALGHAR. 8 MAH (G) BN ATC : 29 MAY-09 JUN 2010.
2. The following competitions will be conducted :
(a) OBSTACLE COURSE.
(b) FIRING COMPETITION.
(c) PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION & GK TEST.
(d) CULTURAL PROGRAMME COMPETITION.
3. Team composition (Per unit) is as follows:-
(a) Obstacle Course Competition. 10 x SD/SW.
(b) Firing Competition. 09 x SD/SW and 06 X JD/JW.
(c) Public Speaking and General Knowledge Competition. 02 x SD/SW and 02 x JD/JW.
(d) Cultural Competition.
(i) Solo song. 03 per unit.
(ii) Solo Dance. 03 per unit
(iii) Instrumental Performance. 03 per unit.
(e) TOTAL : SD- 31 &JD-09. SW-31 & JW-09. Minor units, ie 2 Mah Engr Regt, 4 Mah Sig Coy and 5 Mah EME Coy will field a composite team with the same strength.

SSB COACHING

SSB Coaching for the selected ex cadets which was to on 01 May (Saturday) at Group Headquarters stands cancelled due to holiday on that day. Regrets for the inconveinence. The next session will be on 07 May 10 (friday) at 3 PM.

1. From trg year 2010 onwards, Ncc trg will be for three years.
2. ATCs will also be for 12 days.

SSB Coaching At Nasik

1. Attention all cadets who are attending the SSB coaching at Group HQ. Acoaching camp for girls and boys will be organised at NASIK from 18 March to 28 March, the details are :
(a) Minimal cost, approx Rs 10 or 30 per day.
(b) For both boys and hirls.
2. Group Commander will be interviewing the cadets on 06 March 10 at 1100 h.

NCC SPL ENTRY COURSE :28

1. Attention all ex cadets who are undergoing the weekly SSB coaching, the session on friday 26 Feb will be as scheduled.

SSB practice at GP HQ

First session of SSB practice for selected ex NCC cdts for 27 NCC Special Entry Scheme, will be held at Group Headquarters on 20 Feb 10, at 1500h.

SSB Coaching for selected cadets is organised at OTA, Gwalior. Names of cadets should reach Group Headquarters by 17 Feb.

The Group HQ will be conducting written exam on and interview on 17 Feb for the 28 NCC special entry scheme..

Mountaineering Expedition

NCC would be launching boys and girls mountaineerng expedition to Gangotri -1 (6672M/21884 ft) and Rudugaira (5819M/19086ft) this year. Applications to be forwarded by 09 Feb for boys and 14 March for girls.

Yuva Utkarsh - A Youth Renaissance

An NGO known as Divine India Youth, will be organising a workshop on 23 Jan 2010 at Bharatiya Krida Mandir Stadium, Naigaon Cross Road, Wadala, Mumbai. The timmings are 3 PM TO 7 PM. The speakers will be :

Red Ribbon Express

The Red Ribbon Exress (A train to spread awareness on AIDS), will be at Kurla station on 21,22 Feb 10 and in CST on 23.24 10. NCC cdts are required at the event for crowd management as well for training on how to spread AIDS awareness. The volunteers will be given cirtificates be NACO (National AIDS control Org). Please contact your units for further details.

Defence Expo 2010

Defence Expo 2010 will be organised in Feb at Pragati Maidan. NC Cdts are required for assistance in carious functions during the expo. Apart from the experience the cdts will be provided stipend, free boarding lodging and letter of appreciation from the MOD. You are requested to send the name of the cdts along with their regtl name and contact number urgently Group HQ. The duration will be from 06 Feb - 19 Feb.

A very happy new year to all of you. I had been inactive in posting new posts since the response didnt sem very encouraging. So lets take a new year resolution to follow the blog more regularly and i promise to post all relevant information.
